I've calmed down a bit now. Needed to let off some steam and glad I did. That's the point of this blog to say how we are feeling, to record it all for the time Summer can read it her self and understand.
Her sodium levels are still low but they are on their way up slowly. She has to drink a salt solution 3 times a day which she hates, just as we would if asked to drink some salted water!
Still no sign of her coming home but she seems much happier and has some colour back. She is also coping well with a vastly reduced diet, less than half her previous amount, all thanks to the best 99p we have ever spent.....a dummy!!! (or pacifier to you Yanks)

Nic,
Really sorry to hear about this - I understand your frustration. At least they've identified the problem, and a way to rectify it! It was great to have you all over on Sunday - sorry the rest of the afternoon was so stressful.
God Bless,
John
dear Nic and Kathy,
i cannot even start to imagine th eturmoil you are both going through at the moment. Having a baby is tough but you have ha d it tougher than a lot of us. You are so courageous. Each time I read your blog I rejoice or cry with you. I want you to know that you are still in our prayers and That we pray for the pain to stop so that you can rest and enjoy properly your family life. God sometimes puts us in deserts where there is nothing but doubts, and emptiness, but he always does it for some reasons. You might understand them later...
We wanted to tell you that we are very proud to be your friends a s not a lot of people would actually the guts and the faith to go through what you are going through... You are going to be such strong parents!!!
We pray for you to get rest and peace, and to strengthen your couple through this challenging time, and for the protection of God over Summer. May he heal her and your lives continue to be a testimony for those around you.

Nic & Kathy
We hope Summer is still improving and that her sodium levels are now returning to normal. If you have any other hints on how to best spend 99p let us know.
With love
Richard & Rosie
